P-Clip Range

The range consists of 6 different forms of P-Clip, of which the D form with EPDM lining is by far the most widely used.

Our main range of P-Clips is manufactured according to DIN 3016. The range consists of 6 different forms of P-Clip, of which the D form with EPDM lining is by far the most widely used.

Forms D, E and F can be lined with other types of rubber depending on the application.

The main use for P-Clips is to fasten tubes, hoses, hydraulic cables or cable conduits.

These versatile fasteners are very resistant to wear, and heat or metal fatigue caused by friction, especially in the case of the rubber-lined models. The reinforced screw holes protect the clips from breakage, particularly when large diameters are fastened.

DIN 3016 P-clips are generally used in automotive applications, machinery construction, railroad applications, white goods, air-conditioning and refrigeration.

The types of rubber available for this clamp are:

EPDM: EPDM is a black rubber with a temperature resistance of -40 / + 120, with a weak resistance to gasoline, diesel and oil. It has good resistance to acids and excellently withstands ozone.

Neoprene: Neoprene is a black rubber with a temperature resistance of -35 / + 100, with a moderate resistance to gasoline and diesel. It withstands oil and acids quite well and has excellent strength against ozone. In addition, it resists wear and tear and acts as a flame retardant before a fire.

Nitrile: Nitrile is a black rubber that withstands temperatures of -35 / + 100. It has good resistance to gasoline and diesel and is excellently resistant to oils and acids. It has a moderate resistance to ozone.

Silicone: Silicone is a gray rubber, with a temperature resistance of -60 / + 170, and an acceptable resistance to gasoline and diesel. It offers good resistance to oils and acids, and greater strength against ozone. Also important, it insulates heat, is not flammable and resists UV exposure very well.
